Deana & Bobby Dockery
President &Treasurer
Deana and Bobby founded Coastal Family Vacation Foundation in 2021 after seeing the toll that cancer takes on the entire family unit. Deana, a native South Carolinian, and Bobby, hailing from North Carolina, believe in the power of the ocean to bring peace and pleasure to the spirit. They spent their careers working around the globe in project management and project controls before permanently settling in Folly Beach. They are both active in the community and particularly enjoy fostering rescued English Bulldogs awaiting adoption.
Jay Hodge
Secretary
A native of Sumter, Jay welcomed his and his wife Hilary's first child, Ava, in 2021. He enjoys spending time on our state’s beautiful lakes and rivers, and taking advantage of the great outdoors. Jay's family members have battled cancer, and this is one of the reasons he is excited to be a part of this charity. Jay is in the construction industry.
Tim Goodwin
Director
Tim Goodwin and his wife, Charlotte, are long time residents of Folly Beach. Tim recently retired from a lengthy career of service to the City as mayor and city council member. Tim enjoys fishing and hunting. He is active in many clubs and organizations. He has lost loved ones to cancer and enjoys the joy that the CFVF SC Cancer Respite Program brings to our neighbors around the state.
Ashley Melton
Director
Ashley Melton lives in Sumter. She and her husband, Rocky, have two children who keep the family very involved in school and sports activities.
Ashley is employed at Wilson Hall where she also serves on the PTO and the Board of Directors for the Sumter Junior Welfare League.
They are all Clemson Tiger fans and love attending sporting events.
Jessica Smith
Director
Jessica, a Sumter native, is an Emergency Room nurse at MUSC Kershaw in Camden and is a 5 year survivor of Hodgkin Lymphoma. She is also the mother to Savanna and Brantley. Jessica cherishes time with her children and she enjoys photography, concerts and spending time outdoors.
Kaitlan Keller
Director
Kaitlan grew up in Manning and currently lives in Summerton. She and her husband Wes are busy raising their son Reed and twins Ellee and Luke. They enjoy hunting and spending time at the lake when not keeping up with school and church activities. Both Kaitlan and Wes have had family members affected by cancer which makes this foundation near to their hearts. Kaitlan currently works in the food industry.
Kristin Pollard
Director
Kristin grew up on the outskirts of Manning and hasn't moved too far from home. She lives at the lake in Wyboo, just a few miles on the opposite side of town. Along with her husband Austin & children Hawkens and Heidi, she enjoys hunting & spending time on the boat & golf course. She is a hairstylist in Manning. Kristin is excited to be a part of CFVF because she has clients and family members whose lives have been impacted by cancer.
